Before milling, all raw apricot kernels are tested for mycotoxins and amygdalin levels. Once accepted, the kernels are fumigated in a CO₂ chamber to prevent insect and moth infestation, without the use of chemical agents.
Half kernels and broken pieces are removed using Sortex technology and visual inspection to ensure uniform color and consistency. The main challenge lies in removing hard shells, which resemble kernels in shape and color. To address this, we use laser sorting, x-ray screening, and manual controls, guaranteeing a clean and safe raw material.
The kernels are then milled into a fine flour that retains their natural nutrients while offering a smooth texture. The result is a pure, safe, and versatile organic flour ready for use in gluten-free baking, nutritional bars, and specialty food applications.
